The Christmas tree and decorations are down and returned to the loft for another year, which meant a good dust, hoover and clean of the whole house! It felt pretty good :)
My little sewing space has had a clean and tidy prepped and ready and I finally got round to opening and filling out my new diary!
Sadly planning has not been for any exciting sewing project but for back to work on Monday!! Arrgghh - early mornings, planning, planning and more planning! One of my goals for 2014 is to try and maintain some kind of work/life balance, it's been pretty much a goal every year but never goes as planned but this year I'm going to work my hardest at getting it right!!

I know what you mean! Although I am retired, I never seem to have time to stitch........ I Think I will join you in trying to get the balance right of working round the house and garden and stitching.

I'm always trying to maintain the goal of work/life balance too! aghh we should just be paid to stay at home and sew, right!? ;) x
